A peek inside my wardrobe…

Navy satin slip, barefoot in the bedroom

My bedroom on a night with nothing planned. The fairy lights above the bed, the little lamp, and this navy satin slip I save for evenings when I feel pretty for no reason. Satin slides off the duvet every time I move, so I remade the bed three times. Bare feet on the floorboards, a mug of herbal tea going cold on the nightstand.

Admit it, you looked at the feet first.

Ballerina toes. Okay, two years of ballet.

No polish tonight. Owning it.

On tiptoes I gain two whole inches.

My favourite position for deciding nothing tonight 🤍

Cold floorboards, so only one foot volunteers.

Tea went cold twenty minutes ago. Don't care.
